Exactly 7 years ago, just like every other high school kid, I was also having dilemmas in finding the right college and right career for my future. With those dilemmas and uncertainty, I started exploring different fields of science, and then I came to know about the course ‘Biotechnology’ and its scope. Being a person with a curious mind and a person who loves scientific investigation, I become instantly interested in the avenue of the biotechnology field and the future it holds. Now comes the question, why?
Kantipur Valley College? Out of plenty of colleges I visited in Kathmandu, I found Kantipur Valley College to be the best among all. The well-designed curriculum, the versatile teachers, the fully equipped lab,
and the friendly environment are some of the perks that I found after joining KVC in 2014. The memory from 2014 until graduation was a smooth ride with some ups and downs, obviously, but I shall never forget the happy memories that I spent there. Thanks to the in-depth education and research skills provided by the institution, I was able to get a Ph.D. position with a full scholarship at one of the reputed universities of the US (West Virginia University School of Medicine). Right now, I am doing my
research on cancer immunology, and my goal is to use my research skills and expertise in finding therapeutic cures to cancer. Not only does KVC provides me with education and skills but also helps me live
my dream to the fullest.
